The Story

Why Métis
Contracting Exists.

Robin Ricketts spent years working in the trades — drywall, painting, mud and tape, carpentry — developing a level of skill most contractors never bother to master. He was good at it. But the longer he worked, the more he heard.

Homeowners sharing horror stories. Clients who paid premium prices for work that fell apart. People who felt taken advantage of by the very contractors they trusted to improve their homes. Robin heard these stories from inside the industry, and he couldn't ignore them.

So he started Métis Contracting. Not because it was the easiest path — but because he believed people deserved better. Transparent pricing. Honest timelines. Quality work that holds up. And a contractor who actually answers the phone.
